QUALITY CONTROL
Quality Control Process and Test Equipment
Each stage is inspected, from raw materials to finished goods, and every RJ45 connector and transformer is inspected before it leaves the factory. Nonconforming products are reviewed and handled under our nonconforming product control procedure.

Incoming inspection (IQC)
Purchased materials are held for inspection, counted by the warehouse and checked by IQC. Accepted materials are labeled and stored; rejected materials are reviewed, returned to the supplier and tracked.

In-process inspection
Each step on the line checks inner pins, outer pins, continuity and hi-pot, and LED lighting, polarity and color.
- 03
Final inspection (QA)
Finished goods are inspected by QA before storage. Rejected units are reviewed and reworked or scrapped; reworked units pass all electrical tests and a full inspection again.
- 04
100% outgoing inspection and returns
Every finished product is inspected before it leaves the factory. Customer returns are inspected by QC, documented in a nonconformance report, reviewed and reworked, then fully inspected and repacked before shipping.

Questions About RJ45 Connectors and Ethernet Magnetics
PCB-mount RJ45 jacks (8P8C) with or without integrated magnetics: tab up or tab down, with or without LEDs, shielded or unshielded, in 1×1 to 2×N port layouts from 10/100 to 10G. Low profile, locking and waterproof versions are also available.
Match the transformer to the PHY data rate and port count. VOOHU LAN transformers, also called Ethernet or network transformers, cover 10/100 BASE-TX, 1000 BASE-T, 2.5G/5G BASE-T and 10G BASE-T, in DIP, SMD and Chip LAN packages.

MagJack is a common name for an RJ45 jack with the LAN transformer and common mode chokes built into the connector housing. It saves board space next to the Ethernet PHY compared with a separate transformer and jack.
A standard RJ45 jack contains no magnetics, so PoE needs either a MagJack rated for your PoE class (IEEE 802.3af, at or bt) or a separate PoE transformer next to the jack. VOOHU supplies both.
VOOHU is a manufacturer of RJ45 connectors and Ethernet magnetics, founded in 2018 and based in Suzhou, China.
